Covid-19 Response
COVID-19 is an unforeseen catastrophe which affected the entire world in a dreadful way, of which India is not an exception. We intend to help those who suffer during this pandemic by providing assistance to our healthcare systems. ViswaSanthi Foundation is offering its support to hospitals in expanding their efficiency and competence in providing improved medical practices, by arranging critical care essential medical equipment. We request each one of you, individuals, co-operatives and organizations to join us in fighting this pandemic by lending a helping hand to better their living. Let’s fight this in solidarity. We are all together in this and We Shall Overcome!
Some initiatives effectively executed through our outreach:
- Distribution of 200+ oxygen supported beds to various hospitals across Kerala.
- Donation of 6 ICU beds with ventilator support for diverse hospitals in Ernakulam, Trivandrum and Kottayam.
- Donation of Portable X-Ray Machines.
- Provided Oxygen Pipeline Installation to 2 COVID wards and Triage ward in Kalamassery Medical College, Ernakulam.

- A helping hand from ViswaSanthi Foundation to the Health professionals in the Corona affected wards at the Govt Medical College Kalamassey, Ernakulam. KARMI - Robot will be used to transport and dispense medicines and food to patients affected by COVID 19 in isolation wards to reduce human intervention. The robot is developed by ASIMOV Robotics. UV based disinfection and targeted detergent spray are the additional capabilities of KARMI-Bot . ASIMOV Robotics aims to incorporate contactless routine temperature checking and automated charger docking to KARMI-Bot. The robot was handed over to the Ernakulam District Collector Shri. Suhas. Viswasanthi Foundation is Planning to distribute Robots across India to assist our medical practitioners.
- Donation of 1000 PPE kits and N95 masks each to hospitals in Mumbai and Pune. The kits were used by the hospitals and staff of health department and municipal corporations, social workers etc to screen thousands of persons residing in slum colonies in Dharavi of Mumbai and 130 slum colonies of Pune for identifying persons at risk of Covid infection.
- Donation of PPE kits to health department and Donation of N95 masks to police personnel in Coimbatore.
- Donation of 1000 protective kits for Police personnel in Kerala.
- Distribution of fruit juices in cooperation with Coco Cola to police personnel deployed in Corona duty in Ernakulam district.
- Distribution of laptops: For providing assistance to economically struggling students for attending online classes during Covid Pandemic, mobile phones, tablets laptops, and television sets were distributed to about 100 students across Kerala.
