Viswasanthi Tata Elxsi Shiksha Scholarship
ViswaSanthi Foundation and Tata Elxsi have collaboratively established the ViswaSanthi Tata Elxsi Shiksha Scholarship Program. Our aim with this scholarship program is to support students in completing their courses without being hindered by financial constraints. This transformative initiative takes a sustainable approach by empowering driven students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, offering them a pathway to success through financial assistance, mentorship opportunities, and placements at prestigious institutions. Through this project, we strive to provide the selected students equal opportunities like their peers.
Why ?
While education is a fundamental right, many individuals face significant barriers due to financial hardships and limited exposure to traditional school curricula. Unfortunately, a considerable number of young people are unable to fully pursue their education due to financial instability and a lack of positive support systems. Their apprehension towards new and changing environments often leads them to quit their education prematurely.
Impact
The Viswasanthi Tata Elxsi Shiksha Scholarship has made a substantial impact. We've provided financial assistance and mentorship to over 400 students, enabling them to complete their education. Through our project, around 100 students have successfully secured jobs. In addition to financial support, our mentoring sessions have played a crucial role in the development of their foundational skills.
What we do
We conduct a systematic and thorough screening process to identify financially challenged Polytechnic Diploma students with a strong drive for success and passion in their chosen fields. This prestigious scholarship is not just a financial grant but a gateway to a brighter future. Eligible candidates will receive a financial grant to bolster their educational pursuits. Additionally, they will have access to a series of mentorship programs led by industry experts to enhance their skills and prepare them for the job market. The students will also receive monthly sessions on life skill development. Apart from all these, a dedicated team from the Vsiwasanthi Foundation mentors the students. Through this mentorship, students gain various opportunities to develop their skills and foster new habits. Following this, we will facilitate placement programs to secure positions for these students at reputable institutions, providing them with a solid foundation for their careers.

The Shiksha Scholarship program has expanded from its conceptualization phase to encompass all 14 districts of Kerala, benefiting hundreds of students by facilitating their placements and alleviating financial burdens for their families.
